I thought I heard that there was going to be a way to pick multiple items out in the store and do one purchase (like a cart). Is this in the works still. I have a few items I would like to get and hate typing in the Paypal or credit card information 10 times. Hoping we have a shopping cart soon. Thank you,
Also I remember reading about a function to be able to "liquidate" add-on items we bought from the store and add their value to our pledge. I wonder if it was a dream.
They are currently working on that functionality. The last I heard, they hope to get it functional by R4.
Beside that Oracle Statue Head that let you decorate your lawn, they should add some items you could decorate your house with. Not that expensive but limited amounts so not everyone has them. Things like paintings for example, i don't know but hopes is plenty of paintings you can copy without copyright laws interfering.
Understand that you might not know this but with discounts like the 33% off should we buy now or wait? Personal it is a real big pain to buy 10 items but saving money is always a great thing.
@Fifty I hear you. I have picked up a couple items, but I am holding off on the rest. They have given us a week's notice in the past before they end any sale. I imagine they will follow suit on any other sales that draw to a close.
As someone that has entered the details something like 10 times now, usually in batches of 3 at a time... I totally agree.
. I think useing Amazon payemnts is much simpler if you have an amazon account. Just log in and hit "pay". Everyone should have an amazon account I <3 Amazon
It is easier but still have to go to store, click on buy item, pick item from list, click buy, enter account password, pay (this might not be 100% correct but you get the idea). Repeat for item two. I think I have ten more items I want to buy and that is ten times though that. One item is not bad but more gets to be painful. I am sure they will get to it someday. I just hope it is before we lose the discount on items, people that forget buy buy something, or just skip buying items.
Yeah, they'll eventually get a newer, better store in the coming months. They basically took ignitionDeck, which is primarily a crowdfunding plugin for Wordpress and tried to retrofit store-like capabilities to it after the campaign was over. So the limitations we're seeing are because of the base platform they used. So either they customize the hell out of it or they switch to a new one. Not sure which direction they're taking for the upcoming store re-launch.
