Dungeon Encounters in R63 - which ones, how do they work?

Current R63 player instructions show:

[New] Player Dungeon Encounters: Some player dungeon rooms may have enemies in them. Such rooms are “encounter” rooms. These enemies have a moderate challenge level by default. However, players can collect certain items related to the encounter’s enemies that they can use on the room’s “totem” to increase the encounter’s challenge level. For example, collecting lich head and applying them to a lich encounter room’s totem will make the liches that spawn in the room more challenging than normal.​

How do I know if one of my rooms is an "encounter room"? I have these items.

Also, is there a good guide / video about Dungeon-Making yet?

 

You do not have them. Encounter rooms 1, 2, 3 & Lich room & Spider room. Might be others, they are all drops.

 

So far, it seems that only one room has the potential to have monsters in it - Lich Room (The Fall). The recipe and blueprints for it only drop in the fall. The Lich Essence to construct a totem and power it up only drop in the fall. Content that the majority of the player-base won't touch. Maybe next release...

 

Or buy it from a pvp players vendor.....

 

@Winfield No video yet that i have found ( on my to do list still) but here is a guide that is well received so far.

 

Patch 930 added the lich essence that will be part of the Lich Totem recipe (this is NOT in game yet).

Also, if you have the Fall room in your dungeon, set your dungeon to adventure mode (click the blue cog wheel to change modes). Then go inside and see your new friends!

Wait - so no totem or essence needed? Just The Fall built and it will have monsters in it?

 

Yep! Again, make sure the dungeon is set to adventure mode!
