    Creating platters.

Having a specialist cook able to to turn a food item into a platter by adding lower tier foods to it.

I.E.: Dragon stew. Usign cookign to combine it with tier 1, 2, and 3 foods to create a Dragon Stew Platter.

Dragon stew + Sautee'd bass + garlic cheese bread + a banana = Dragon Stew platter 1.7 Health regen, 1.7 focus regen, +2 int, -2% sprint focus drain

Bear Surprise + Tuna Steak + Sugar Cookie + pepper = Bear Surprise Platter +1 health regen, +1 focus regen, +1 air attunment, +6 strength, +2% fire resistance

I wish they'd change food buffs to be a food and a drink, instead of just any two foods. Would give a reason for stat drinks to be added, and would allow them to provide a better range of foods.

I wish cooks who specialized in cooking when that comes in could enhance recipes like the alchemy table enhances gear and weapons. Cooking is still so bare bones. @Bzus do you read the forums for some ideas or comments to us on crafting since Chris says he doesn't do crafting?

I just want good intelligence food that isn't gated by the hardest to catch fish in the game.

As is we have a neutral point where we don't suffer from not having food.

Adding a negative for not eating food would boost the food "industry" in sota a bit as people would actually have that need to keep themselves fed and in drink on a regular bases. It would use up all the stored foods that don't decay.

    Just a thought

But to have a specialist make a "platter" food would be neat as well but this would count as two foods eaten. IMO.

every game i've ever played that required food to prevent negative effects, i edited and gave myself unlimited food. can't do that here, but that is NOT something i like having to manage.

*shrug* I like the idea of having to manage food, at a casual level, to play the game.

Id like it if players were more strongly encouraged to rely on avatars with high cooking skill, and for foods to be more prevalent in the player economy.

This idea sounds like step in that direction. Cant wait to see what cooking specialization will bring!

Right now GM in this game is not GM. One person I know who GM'd cooking failed like 6 times in a row trying to make a recipe. If GM does not make you a better cook in some way then don't have it be GM. Seriously what is the reason to GM? If another level is GM then players should have that info and description of what GM is. Just too many things left to random and not skill. We need to have a reason to level a skill. So perhaps GM is Grandmaster which does XYZ and then you have another level you can achieve but right now GM means less and less and it is not the best as is usual. So if it is not best then rename it and give us a bar to achieve. Call out again to @Bzus to see if he is reading crafting ideas and thoughts even if occasionally. @DarkStarr
