"Hearts of Britannia" Valentine's Day Competition

Thanks, thats what I thought, but then here his is trying to rush me.

 

Well, the sooner the better. I'm sure he has a lot of submissions to go through....

 

I don't want people to be at a disadvantage merely because they waited too long, and you know how people sometimes forget deadlines! It sure helps me if I nag, so I will.

 

I'm excited for the hangout shenanigans, because you can bet your britches I'll be watching!
By the way, has a time been announced for when the hangout starts?

Portalarium Prize list:

All winning entries will be bound into an in-game book which will be findable in game.

The winners of Lord British and Darkstarr poems, will can get the in game Darkstarr or LB cloak.

The team will also create a video of us (Richard, Starr, Myself, and Stephen) reading the winning poems that were written to us.

Grand Prize Poems judged by Dame Lori & Sir Dom John!

The two winning entries will be adapted and sung by Poets' Circle and put to music. Pending review, the instrumentation of that music will be put into the game.

I think this might confuse some of the participants.

 

Right, I changed it. Dom and Lori have not won. They judge the 2 poems that win grand prizes.

Why not make a cloak with a heart on it for first place?

 

Dag gone it. We haven't had visitors or a night out for dinner IN A YEAR and this Saturday, around 5pm Pacific, we'll be heading out to pick up some good friends staying in town and taking them out to dinner.

I assume that one doesn't have to be on the live chat to be chosen a winner (although I hope that it will be recorded as all the wonderfully fun events have been and I can see the hilarity that will surely ensue).

 

Will the judges be allowed to select a funny poem as the winner if they like it, or will those go straight to the roast? I'm going to submit an entry, but my poetry just can't stay serious. I do want to compete for something, though, that is fun

 

Yay! I just wrote my first poem (ever)! This was really fun, great idea Holt!

It will be recorded. Google Hangouts end up on youtube by default I think, so no matter when you watch it, you'll have an opportunity to sit by the hearth fire with me and read some poetry and share the love!
