question about taming

Hey folks ,how it work now ,we can't overwrite old pet with new?
i tamed a pet and im trying to tame next using same necklace(necklace is unlocked in inv)
but i'm not getting any xp if i fail to tame,if i use new crafted necklace im getting xp on fails ...
So how it work really need i new necklace for every taming attempt to get xp?no way to overwrite old pet?

 

You have to have the necklace equipped to tame. If it is equipped and unlocked, you can overwrite. If it is equipped and locked, it is not supposed to overwrite (I haven't messed with it since change, but that is supposed to be how it works).

If that is not happening, you should report that as a bug.

 

yep i have it equipped and unlocked ,no skillgain at any try ,always fail,when i equip new empty necklace everything works fine,just wanted to confirm if its bug or if i do something wrong.

 

That sounds like it's bugged then. Maybe some other tamers that have tamed since the change can weigh in. Otherwise, I'll try when I get home tonight to confirm.
