Free rooms for fearless roleplayers

Helboer in Kahli is offering basement rooms to interested roleplayers. Kahli is a RP PvP (no ransom) town in the Hidden Vale, and Helboer is a 100% RP district of Kahli, built as a fortress with housing and a garden inside the fortress' walls.

The rooms are under a building that hosts a library and a social space with cozy seating and game tables (chess and checkers). There is also a kitchen that can be used by all our guests, and some nice outdoors seating, too.

The rooms are in an inn basement and come unfurnished. Which means you can decorate them to your own liking. Upon request, your room can be decorated and furnished for you, but there will be a deposit for the containers in the room, which you get back upon returning them.

Guests staying in one of these rooms have access to all facilities in Helboer, which includes a commission free community vendor, a no-PvP crafting space with expert crafting stations and remote bank access, a tavern, a bath house, and several shared outhouses (and best of all: a community of very dedicated immersive RPers as neighbours). Upon request, farming space can be made available to those so inclined. A banker and a magic merchant can be found just outside the house. A decorations merchant, a cooking merchant, and a crafting merchant are only a very short walk away, at the opposite gate of the fortress.

The only requirement is that you are interested in roleplay. Oh and three more rules, eventhough I'm not all that crazy about rules: I will evict you if you either place decoration in places other than your room, or if you have not logged in for a RL month without prior notice, or if other Kahli citizens report behavior that can be considered griefing (to clarify: Killing people or stealing from people is not griefing. Doing it over and over again without giving them a break and/or trash talking to them is). That's it.

Room No2 still available and probably will remain for rent for a very long time since I currently have different plans than changing that basement, so it's a perfect place for a roleplayer to start out.

At Helboer's Guest Rooms you have the choice between elegantly furnished premium rooms and functionally furnished, cozy economy rooms.


All rooms have a bed of which the covers are changed once a week, comfortable seating for at least two, and a wash table with water that is changed every day and towels that are changed once a week. All rooms are really spacious!


All tenants have access to the kitchen upstairs to prepare their own meals, the large seating room with library and board games, the outhouse, and the Helboer bath house which is but a very short walk away and is open 24/7. Meals, including breakfast, can be had at the meadhall, which is also just a short walk away. Premium room tenants get room service upon request.


Our premium rooms sport exquisite furniture, beds with silken sheets, a cozy fireplace and a bottle of perfumed soap on the wash table. One room even has a bath tub. Premium rooms give you that little "extra" through tasteful wall hangings and thick rugs on the floor. A free bottle of wine awaits you as a welcome present.


Our economy rooms have tasteful, functional furniture and braziers to keep the cold at bay (except for our elven themed economy double room, where we have thick, lush carpets instead which won't allow the use of a brazier in the room due to fire hazard). Some economy rooms can have an additional single bed added. Please inquire.


Upon leaving a deposit, tenants get the keys to the containers in their room. (OOC: The containers will be given to you so you can place them in private mode, which makes them accessible only to you and nobody else, not even the lot's owner. The deposit is needed because the container actually is yours, then, and in the unlikely case of your eviction ends up in your bank account. You will get the deposit back when you give the containers back)


There are four unfurnished rooms available for long term tenants. These can be furnished by the tenant, or upon request furniture can be provided. Rent individually or two adjacent rooms with a piece of hallway as a suite or even all four as a spacious apartment!


The second floor of the Hall of Learning, which is the name of the building in whose basement the guest rooms are located, has a small banqueting area for eight to twelve persons, which can be booked for small events like a dinner with friends. Pending availability, renting the banqueting area for an event is free of charge for Helboer's residents and tenants of our guest rooms.

The Norgard Premium room

Room description
Elegant Norgard themed room with carved four poster bed with royal purple silken sheets and covers. Writing desk, fireplace, bath tub and wash table.

The Elven Premium room

Room description
Very elegant room with the finest furniture elven artisans make, including a king sized bed with filigree carvings, silken sheets and brocade covers, fireplace and brocade upholstered seating furniture for four, art and pottery for the feeling of "home away from home".

The "English" Room

Room description
This room sports elegant oak furniture, including a small double bed with silken sheets and covers with autumn pattern silk embroidery. Dresser, large cabinet, small table with comfortable, silk embroidered chairs, wash table, elegant cast iron fireplace, kettle, cups, and free tea.

The Norgard Economy room

Room description
Rustic room in the style of a simple Norgard home. Comfortable queen sized bed, wardrobe, trunk, small wash table, table with comfortable chairs for two.

Room description

The Economy Twin room

Room description
