Where R the Aethers ?

I thought the Aether stuff came out in August?

I don't recall them saying that the aether creatures were seasonal.

Aether Creatures Sighted in New Britannia!

Astronomers across New Britannia have noted that the approaching comet has agitated the creatures of Novia and Hidden Vale, making many bolder and more ferocious. Rumors suggest that the aether surrounding the comet has been mutating some of the most powerful creatures into new monstrous variations. Explorers of the world’s most dangerous regions are reporting sightings of Aether Dragons, Aether Corpions, and even Aether Liches! Woe be to any unwary Avatar who stumbles into their path!

 

I'm guessing we need a comet to approach Novia first

If you have a replenishing dye box, you can use the dye on lichs and dragons to imbue them with Aether Power!

Nahh, would be funny though, but I do remember that Aether creatures were to be seasonal, possibly after the KKK Atavists?

 

They were in July - August last year idk I’d love a official answer, if I were to guess it would be they forgot about them. Anything more than a year seems like it’s a bunch of wasted dev effort in making it originally.

 

I'd very much like to see Aether Dragons return, for sure.

 

I'd definitely get in on some groups hunting these for the chance to get a head.

 

May be they could appear

1. on a special Isle and / or
2. in a special dungeon and / or
3. in one special PvP area

However, something special - to have a reason to go there

 

Just one of the already existing zones that doesn't get any traffic! I mean an Aether Dragon is crazy enough to drive away any other large predator, and have a secluded resting spot in the area, explaining why everything else is low level, but that one specific one is there, haunting their dreams. This would give zones a reason to go in them!

Well I don't know if we will get an answer since I thought Chris and Darkstarr were both on vacation. But I guess seasonal happenings are not set to automatic occurrences

 

Pretty sure when they turn off the Luminous Ativists the Aethers will be turned on. Its early still in the month so maybe by the next release. Patience should be a virtue in this game although i would fail on the Oracle test for it. LOL

 

Wasn't the comet an LB birthday thing? Which has already passed. Maybe they forgot.

 

Or maybe the comet comes back less often than we thought

 

Who are you and why are you even bothering to mention me in a joke about a monster that drops a craftable potion with hidden effects that ruin pvp?

 

You showed a very nice slaying of that aether dragon once. Thought i'd give you props for that in a post regarding Aethers..
