Reproduction Rate: ALways except when entering town from the town - recalling within the POT.

Hello friends,

Today (release of R69) the loading time for houses and decorations really got slow. In R68, houses loaded very quickly. Prior to R68, houses loaded more slowly, but seems like it has been a while since 1 minute house loading times - until today.

I experimented by recalling from inside the town back into the town. The loading screen passed more quickly and the house was loaded instantly (shutters still open).

The patch seems to have fixed it! I'm back to R68 levels of performance for loading homes/deco - which is a very good thing

You must have another patch than me....i still have to wait 1-3 minutes or more before a chest get open or a door or a gate or or.....

 

I'm sorry to hear that, man. I experienced performance like that a couple months ago. Things have gotten a lot better for me the last 2 months. Houses load almost instantly.

I'm on a 2016 era laptop, so I don't think it's up to my hardware. I reckon the folks upstairs have been working hard (and succeeding) at optimizing for some systems. I hope your system enjoys similar benefits soon
