    I can't remember when exactly, but it was last October or November when many crafter said they were waiting for the imminent crafting overhaul.

    Like many industries that sell new models of the same product each year or so, crafter should produce current generation equipment as they feel necessary... and discount remaining stock next year. Of course you shouldn't invest too much in what's going on now, but at the same time, there's always going to be another update "right around the corner." May as well live/craft for today :)
