READ THE ENTIRE TEXT BEFORE POSTING IN THIS THREAD!

Here is an early rough draft of the Release 70 Instructions Post. Lots of stuff is still in progress, including the text itself, features, content, etc. Some things listed here are not yet in the build and might NOT make the release!

As always this thread is for editing the post itself, clarifying the contents, etc. It is NOT about debating game features, decisions, etc. Please start other threads for that.

Also as usual the links to instructions and known issues are pointing to R69 so I don't need to be told that. :)

I also don't need to be reminded about blank areas or places that say <insert more here> or are blank. I got those. :)

Also please DO NOT give feedback on the ORIGINAL text that I cut and paste from the Quarterly Schedule Post. As a rule we never edit the original text. We only put new text afterwards in italics. That way we make sure everyone knows we aren't hiding anything, especially if something is delayed. ;)

why is there a fresh statue, when that's the default? it won't change anything, just be decorative. that should be clear in the description and priced accordingly.

I would mention the heritage thing with the new crown stuff since lots of players haven't caught up yet on those
    Obsidian Order Decorations (heritage)
    Bonfire (heritage)

The small camp fire is not a heritage item.

"As a bonus, all the special enemies from the classic Ulfheim"
"Nightmares: Arriving just in time for Halloween, these"
    "Sorry, no switching to lava!"
"At the request of players, we have provided"
"To try and address theses," change to these
"Reminder to receive these exclusive rewards, all" Suggest dropping the word Reminder. "To receive these exclusive rewards, all"

There are a few more place where a comma wouldn't hurt, but those are what stood out to me most.

    • Will-o-Wisp Balance: The will-o-wisp was sorely lacking in usefulness. For Release 70 it gains a longer mesmerize effect and also gains a critical hit damage debuff similar to the “Fireflies” spell.
    • Phoenix Balance: An additional Damage over Time effect has been added to the phoenix primary attack. Additionally, his death explosion effect has been more than doubled in strength.
Might want to specify which Will-o-Wisp and which Phoenix are being referred to, the summons or the enemies?

I don't see any of these in QA, but once we've switched to either Fetid or Salt, how do we switch back to Fresh again without the third statue? Or is this a one time only switch, if so then why have a statue taking up space and this should be noted if it is indeed the case.

the rest of the dungeon recipes are on booksellers, not deco merchants.

"It can be found on Decoration Merchants in the Midmaer region which contains Brittany."

Pretty sure that Brittany is the capitol of Regalis, not Midmaer, hence the name of the region. Also a plot point in BotA was that Midras used to be the capitol of Midmaer. -goes checking -

    EDIT
    Yup, Brittany is in Regalis.

Taming Frenzy (new skill): This is a new active skill for taming. Using it gives your pet a short term combat buff.
Nothing wrong but maybe some slight additional clarity

The Will-o-Wisp in the Moon Magic School was sorely lacking in usefulness. For Release 70, it gains a longer mesmerize effect and also gains a critical hit damage debuff similar to the “Fireflies” spell.

the wording can make that sound like a nerf, so maybe something like

or maybe a switch to put the cool addition first and the adjustment after
