There wasn't any big news. He never said there would be in THIS stream.

I sympathize, a bit. I do think they're working on something big, and complex projects -- triply so if you're relying on other people -- can take on a mind of their own, that just refuses to cooperate on the timeline you want it to. I wouldn't be surprised if they've been facing a constant stream of unexpected whatevers that keep pushing their hoped-for plan back.

But Chris does need to remember that himself and stop teasing things. And everybody else needs to stop over-reacting to his teases and blowing them out of proportion.

 

So there wasn't ever a big surprise that was going to be announced? Oh brother. Well at least it's almost October, so only 3 more months until Ep content starts to roll out.

 

Chris has been mentioning big news coming for more than a month now. I think because he mentions this people believe he is suggesting the big news is close to being announced.

 

Maybe. But how about if "big news" is months off, wait a bit before talking about it?

 

Let’s look on the bright side - the last time Chris had a big surprise, it was to tell us Port couldn’t afford (I mean, totally didn’t need) an office anymore. Kinda good on surprises at this point!

He should just drop the surprise nonsense and keep his mouth zipped until an official announcement. Because, human nature is to think the surprise is a game changer, and some guesses are expecting that in this thread. Silly to rile people up unless it is a legit massive positive thing. If it is bad news like the last surprise or just something minor, it does no favors.

 

To be honest, it’s probably something very exciting for him, and everything is probably proceeding well, and just has to wait for the right time before he can say any thing. And that’s ok too.

 

I figured the big news was they were promoting someone else's kickstarter.

Well I would have to say that mounts would be a good announcement but really I'd like to hear we got more funding and could hire more people and that we were going to do some of the things that need done with this game like adding The Raid system completing cooking making Brewing more viable from that system and that we aren't just adding another level to something but that we have the rewards and reasons to revisit areas filled with Lore and interesting reasons to be there.

 

I was late to the stream yesterday. Didn't hear anything midway to the end regarding any announcement. Did I miss it?

 

Chris specifically said big announcement that he hoped he would be cleared/allowed to make in Friday's Stream, and even added, if we cannot make it by the end of stream, he will do a later stream to announce it...

Do you guys think the book and color picture update was he Big Announcement? I only caught the tail end of that.

Either the big announcement was the book update, or it hit a wall, or got bogged down for one reason or another.

I am hoping for bogged over book or wall alternatives...
