Creating a new account is free. Not suggesting buying another character slot. :p

Experiment with decks. That's something to do too. Too often, players just give up on the decks.

Make 1200 mini catapults, scatter them all over your guild hall and demand a regime change during the guild meeting.
Thats what you should do after you get the shroud.

Well i suggest Rinaldi's List. Mundane or tough it is still fun. You could do a cartography book. Go to each region and visit every town and adventure scene and chronicle the adventure. Do it in an RP style. that should put some wind in your sails

Not to be confused with that time we filled the guild hall with revolutionary propaganda pamphlets that served as quest starters to uncover and thwart (or join) the revolutionary movement.

Great way to make friends depending on who kills them what kind of attitude they have. If someone kills then multiple times, they're probably not a future friend and is just looking to rack up kills.

I'd really like copies of these books for my library in Jade Valley if they are available

Endgame is spending money, watching streams, and writing thoughtful forum posts that won't be read by anyone who can act on them. You can do UT or the fish at the same time, but it's not neccessary.

Can any tamers help me on this? I need a short paragraph on why a player should consider pursuing taming.

I don't use pets but I see others using them to great effect, so it's the best answer that I could give.

    Hi Nick - re taming.
Now that pets have a taunt functionality, it is possible to play a tamer in Sota as in many other games that have "pet classes." - IE, the pet engages/holds the monster, and the player heals it while also damaging the monster. While its really only effective for one target at a time, it has increased soloability for targets of a larger scale. Taming is now, with specialization and investment in appropriate gear, a viable skill tree in its own right that gives its own unique gameplay style. This can be of benefit to players on both ends of the spectrum - the high level tamer who has invested millions of experience/gold/time in developing their pet to be able to tank dragons, or to the lower level, more casual player who wants increased survivability against more modest targets. Taming/using a pet is now a viable alternative to kiting/hopping around trying to avoid damage against big things. Its a lot less hectic and easier for people who don't have lightning reflexes - you now can do some of the harder content (albeit, more slowly usually). There is the whole roleplay element of having an animal companion, too.

Kinda long for a short paragraph. Is there anything else that I can add to make it a book by itself?

Are high level mobs tamable? Is the learning curve for taming steep?

Another question, https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/beginners-guide-to-taming.84585/ was written sometime back. Is the information still useful? Since its a beginners' guide.

And mega thanks for the info.
