If I click on the Play button in the launcher, absolutely nothing happens, not even an error popup message.
So I guessed to run this file directly:
    "/usr/local/games/shroud-of-the-avatar-launcher/Shroud of the Avatar.x86_64"

but it gives the problem below

Unable to load mono library from
    /usr/local/games/shroud-of-the-avatar-launcher/Shroud of the Avatar_Data/MonoBleedingEdge/x86_64/libmonobdwgc-2.0.so
    Failed to load mono

and... of course, such file does NOT exist!!!
    not even that path: "MonoBleedingEdge"
Like the launcher missed to download this essential thing.

Edit: There are several libmono packages on ubuntu 18.04, I downloaded and extracted them all but none has: libmonobdwgc-2.0.so

Edit: Is there some place I could download correct SotA's MonoBleedingEdge so I could manually extract it where it requires on the error log?

Edit: Btw, I found some mono stuff here:
    /usr/local/games/shroud-of-the-avatar-launcher/Shroud of the Avatar - Launcher_Data/Mono/x86_64/
But it has not all requirements from error log.

Edit: I got MonoBleedingEdge/x86_64/libmonobdwgc-2.0.so from some random project on github, and symlinked the folder "./Shroud of the Avatar - Launcher_Data/Managed/" into "./Shroud of the Avatar_Data/" (as I guessed by the command line log errors), but unfortunately I am getting this error
Runtime critical type System.RuntimeType not found
So my guess is that libmonobdwgc-2.0.so should probably be specially compiled to SotA and the one I got would never work... (I wont drop the stacktrace as that would not make sense, and the help above asks not to. Anyway I probably need the SotA's libmonobdwgc-2.0.so first to do any reasonable test)

May be I should just wait for next patch? :( :( :(

    thx!

ps.: Hi, this is my 1st post :>

now I get it, I searched for:
    libmonobdwgc-2.0.so
with no restrictions at the forum's search tool and it brought no results! :>

Edit: btw, for some reason I had to install the game 2 consecutive times:
I initially installed using the .deb
then I installed using the .tgz
then I removed the .deb from the system
(the game gave the same problem)
then I deleted the .tgz installation
then I installed the .tgz again and it worked
It was like the tgz got messed by what was already done by the .deb installer, so I had to have it all cleaned up, so a clean .tgz installation was required.
