    I have 2 SSD harddrives.
I use stripes on them (only the big files of each app or game are spread every 64kb of each file on each drive).
Why? reading from both at same time lowers the loading game time.

But SotA is not allowing me to create symlinks for these big files (more than 100MB) that I copy to the stripes (really fast volume).
It says the files are corrupted...

Could you allow the linux client follow the symlinks? (that is my guess of the problem at least...)

Basically, the fast media is very costly per MB,
so I put apps and games on slower medias of like (total of) 1.4TB, and SSDs for stripes but they are much smaller like 240GB.

Ps.: this kind of post should be on development forum I guess but I have no access to do that. Feel free to move it to there.

Are you sure they aren't corrupted? Have you run an md5sum or crc32 and compared with the original files?

no need, for now I just moved the whole SotA 11GB of game files to the fast SSDs, and it worked (nothing was corrupted), but I would rather prefer to copy there only 5GB (the big files only).

Moving the main data files and then symlinking them will for sure break the updater.

I skip the launcher/updater and run the game directly using `Shroud of the Avatar.x86_64`
so the file check/validation happens on it too
