Mining ore could wield a few random gem fragments, and surprises on fumble

    just to make it more fun
    could wield 0 to 3 random gems (each) fragment, so there could come up to 3 different gems fragments
    so the time we have to wait (least if critical) would be more like a lottery :)

    and to make it more fun... failure could lead to a random explosion: poison gas or fire :>

    I occasionally get COTOs while mining. So, really there already is a lottery in place.

    I got some gems from crystals, but I mean that mining ore feels boring for some reason.
    COTOs are not specific to mining, you can get it from some other activities too as I read.
    The fumble could be related to natural gas when you mine it may explode/spread :>
