Whyte Roc Fishing Contest (Season One) featuring a total prize pool of 7450 Crowns.

Attention all Anglers, come and test your skill in Whyte Roc.

Season One of the Contest begins October 15th 2019 and will continue until All fish are caught or the season ends, at which point all uncaught fish prizes will roll into Season two.

    Rules:
    Cost to enter: Free
This event consists of catching saltwater fish in the player owned town of Whyte Roc.
Only fish caught on or after October 15th, 2019 are eligible.

Fish must be mailed to Cypher Black by the person who caught the fish. ie, if Cypher Black Caught it, Cypher Black must mail it.
The first player to mail in the winning fish wins the prize.
All fish will be returned when the prize is awarded.
Winners will be identified in this post with the size of their catch.
    One winner in each category.
ie, Once a player wins for the largest Pacu, then that prize is removed from eligibility
Each character may only win a maximum of three times. ie. Cypher Black and catches and submits by mail the biggest Pacu (150 Crowns), the biggest Marlin (250 crowns) and the biggest Bluefin Tuna (200 crowns). He would win a total of 600 crowns. The next day, just for fun, he makes a cast and catches the largest Tigershark (1000 crowns). However, as he has already claimed three prizes, his entry would be void and he would not be eligible to win.
Eligible Fish sizes for uncaught fish will drop by .01-.10 on Monday, Oct 21st. ie. If a Tigershark is caught before the 21st, it will be removed from the prize list. If a Tigershark is not caught, the size (currently 4.75) will drop anywhere from .01-.10 (in this example, let's say it drops to 4.69), then any Tigershark caught on or after the 21st that is 4.75 or larger, will be eligible for the prize.

Hosted by the Player Owned Town of Whyte Roc

I have added this addition to the contest to ensure that all prizes will be awarded. Basically, over time the size requirements for the fish will diminish.

Eligible Fish sizes for uncaught fish will drop by .01-.10 on Mondays. Next drop October 21st. ie. If a Bluefin Tuna is caught before the 21st, it will be removed from the prize list. If a Bluefish Tuna is not caught, the size (currently 2.88) will drop anywhere from .01-.10 (in this example, let's say it drops to 2.83), then any Bluefish Tuna caught on or after the 21st that is 2.83 or larger, will be eligible for the prize.

    Good question!

Answer: It does not qualify. Only fish caught after the size drops will qualify.

    Thanks,

Four days in and so far there have been six prizes awarded to six different winners!

    Remember:

Eligible Fish sizes for uncaught fish will drop by .01-.10 on Mondays. Next drop October 21st. ie. If a Bluefin Tuna is caught before the 21st, it will be removed from the prize list. That is a good question. Before the contest, I was catching Pacu's in Whyte Roc (Salt-Water) and I asked in the universe chat to get a consensus of Salt-Water fish. That said, I have not caught a Pacu in a couple of weeks now... So, maybe it was there by mistake?

It’s only found in the 2 POT’s that are picked daily.

Unless Whyte Roc gets picked for that, we will never find any in here.

Edit: Use a Teleport to Zone scroll. The 2 towns at the top in yellow are the current 2 towns you can find Pacu in.

You can also speak to a Town Crier and ask about rumors until they tell you the 2 daily towns.

Well that is good to know and totally makes sense as the day I caught the Pacu was the day Whyte Roc was highlighted.

Thanks, I will adjust the rules!

Something fun you could do, is when your town is picked for the day, for 24 hours, just run a separate Pacu fishing event? And possibly go for the largest Pacu caught in the 24 hours?
