Daily tasks and quests discussion

Not really sure how you could implement PvP quests ...

1. I get quest to deliver
2. You get quest to stop me
3. I/You go linkdead and dont go back in the game for the day etc ....

What is the other person supposed to do then? Hope to cross paths again days later to complete quest?

 

Its not linked by person. If someone is available to fight then you fight, if not it would either just be the pve version of the quest or they could add some bandit npcs to fill in.

Have you ever played any of the pvp areas of the dark souls games?

 

Perhaps PvP delivery jobs only exist in the current session. You log out, accident or not and its void. Probably a few other exploits that would need to be ironed out.

 

Bow much would those founder tablets from ready player one go for then!!??

 

There should definitely be more stuff in the game that lets you gain a reasonable amount of XP every day by just playing for an hour or two, and if that something encourages people to engage with all the content in some way instead of just ignoring it all to just always hit the same small list of optimal grind spots all the better.

 

I like the whole idea of a tavern based job or quest board. Buy a drink from the bartender to get a chance for a bonus quest.
