I think you still need to email support.

@Scooby Doo , I believe you will also need to mail atos in-game. Write him an in game mail to describe it, along with your cotos.

Upgrading the POT might give you 1/3 worth in credits to purchase a new house. (At least it was mentioned in the earlier streams)
Meaning if it cost you 100000 crowns to upgrade your POT, you are entitled 33333 credit available to purchase a new home.

    Greetings all and @Nick
To upgrade a POT with COTOs you will need to do 3 things.
    1. Go to your account page and to the Towns tab. If you have more than 1 POT click on the one you want to upgrade and click on the upgrade button. You will need to select which size you want to upgrade to and it will tell toy the amount of $USD (SUM Column) it will cost. For example it will cost me $699 to upgrade my Crossroads town to a Town size POT.
    2. Have the same number of crowns times 100 in your bank. In the example above that is 69,900. *Note*, the last time I upgraded was before the COTOs went from 1 to 100.
    3. Send support an email from the email account that is associated with the SOTA account that owns the POT. In the email tell them the login account name (not the character name) and the name of the POT you want to upgrade. Support will take the COTOs out of you bank and upgrade your POT without having to unlock the POT and it should be in the next update. You usually do not have to wait for a release update just a patch.

If you read the patch notes it will say "a pot" has been upgraded from a crossroads to a town. Otherwise you will just notice you have a lot more room to place lots and can place more NPC buildings, NPC, and deco.

What's Atos Doing? Upgrading the metropolis of Crystal Cove to a Municipality! Huge congratulations to the governor! Reminder, you can upgrade POTs with crowns by messaging Atos in game/forums and soon by writing support!

    Greetings Proteus Tempest
COTOs went from 1 COTO = $1 to 100 COTOs = $1. So my understanding is that a cost of $349 to upgrade your POT will cost you 34900 COTOs. It is always a good idea to verify with @Chris or with support.

I would check on the price of upgrades; at one point POT upgrades were on sale back when the store was on the web. Web store stuff was reduced in price to match normal half off sales and I wonder if sale POT upgrades were going to follow that philosophy. Probably wishful thinking, but a COTO saved is an extra deco for tomorrow :)
