Hello everyone, I have a little project planned for SoonTM and would need you guys, the community, to help me fill this up! Basically, I would like to look at all the active spells (that are cast-able, not innates nor skills (aka weapon glyphs), and figure out which monster in the game casts these spells. If you guys could provide me with the spell, the creature that casts it, and the location (simply the scene is needed, not more).

By the way, when I say monster, I will include Humanoids/humans in this list as well, basically, anything that is not a player, that can be killed/fought!

    Sun
    Light
    Enlightenment
    Searing Ray
    Solar Flare
    Blind
    Reveal Hidden
    Dazzling Rays

you're gonna have to identify monsters by hp, not just name. there's many different levels of, say, elf mage, and each gets a few more tricks

i'm aware, but the tier of a mob is not something we can see, and multiple tiers of a mob can be in the same scene.

Hmm, thats an interesting detail I did not think about! Ill be honest though I wouldn't ask that from others, as long as they can help me with " In X scene, Y mob uses Z spell, Ill be more than happy, and maybe later I can fill out the rest. It is for a personnal prject that might not serve the people at all honestly, so I don't want to ask too much from people who will probably get no reward out of this!

BUT, I will note this info on my own! So thanks for the input!

Thank you Arkah! Don't go out of your way to do this, but if you do notice a spell cast, if you can write it down, like I said, all I really need is mob type, scene, spell cast, that is it! Thanks!

The tier/skulls of an adventure zone should give some clue on the monster's level.

@Violet Ronso , is this project still on? I have to relearn my Avatar's moves after a long abscence and get up to date on the many changes in the game.

Will be re-visiting some low level areas again so I can be more comfortable in my own (ingame) skin :)

This could be part of some SOTA bestiary book if anyone else is working on it. The pet version of the NPC monster will have a different skill/spell set and could be included.

Not entirely true, as even with the old skull system, it reflected the MAX difficulty you could find in a scene, not what every mob in that scene would be. There are still plenty of tier 5 scenes around that have tier 3 mobs in them, for instance.

There’s exactly one scene in the entire game (that I am aware of) that actually consists of all Tier 5 level creatures.

All other scenes are always a mix of different tier creatures.

Of course. But the skulls will still give you the rough level range of the mob. It's very unlikely for example for Tier 1-2 creatures to exist in a T5 or T4 area.

I can't think of a way to get the exact mob level otherwise unless you're a dev or the mob is explicitly stated to be of a certain level.

Unless somebody out there has a tip or trick to share?
