Offline Steam request: Give a Place Anywhere instead of (useless) POT deed

    I could have some of this wrong because I don't play offline, but here is my understanding.

    A player just got their deed on Steam in Offline mode, and it's a POT deed. But there are no POTs in offline, correct? And if there are, why would you want to be the only house in the whole scene? You're going to want to move into Ardoris or something.

    So please consider giving them a place anywhere (and might as well make it tax free, it's Offline!) deed so they can get right into the housing.

    They could add deeds to the vendors in offline mode to.

    Deeds are already available on vendors in offline mode.

    And POT deeds are usable anywhere in offline mode, and there's no taxes. It's confusing -- players will still see the deeds labelled as POT or PA, and the game still tells you taxes are due. But there's no penalty for not paying them, and the POT restrictions are ignored. Players starting offline just have to figure all of that out by trial and error, though. :-(

    If it's too much work to switch everything over for offline non-confusion, there should at least be an offline note or book explaining the differences, something offline players get along with the New Player Handbook perhaps. That could be helpful in a lot of ways, not just for deeds.
