Of Reapers and Wyverns

I've stopped counting the number of wyverns I've killed. It's just got depressing.

I did finally manage to get a cowbell last night though. I'd go back through my logs and see how many reapers I had to kill to get that 1 cowbell but I'm 99% sure I don't have enough beer to drown my sorrows.

 

You'll be sad tho when you've collected them all and there's nothing left to collect.

 

personaly i think the rate drop for wyvern heads is way to low easyer to get a dragon head, i think it should be easyer to get wyvern heads so you can gaze at all the different color dragons heads you could collect

 

Most likely the wyvern head drop is broken and I doubt if they are in any rush to fix it. In the 1st month when it came out I got 4 heads, since then I have killed well over a thousand and haven't gotten another drop, and I haven't seen or heard of anyone getting one. The only saving grace is that its good XP killing them

Sad is when you finally get them all, and then the drop rate is changed (accidentally I bet) so that everyone gets 2 0r more colors before it gets fixed. As long as we know they are dropping, then (at least for me) the greatest reward will be when I get the collection against all odds. Love the challenge.

Also the drops in the last 30 days was 1 Black Wyvern Head on 12/16. 2 Blue Wyvern Heads. 1 Green Wyvern Head. 1 Purple Wyvern Head. That's 5 head in total, in 30 days.

Doesn't seem like any of the drop adjustments are actually doing anything (or people just finally got fed up and stopped trying). Although, the API does not show the number of attempts (of skinning). They actually can't check that.

FWIW, I'm still trying to get a wyvern head but it's mainly because I need crafting xp.

Still not going to count how many I've killed because I still don't have enough beer to drown my sorrows. During this marathon I've been killing wyverns, reapers, barbarians and enough obsidian everything that I won't need food for a VERY long time. My drops have been a Cowbell, recipe for the short medieval shirt, ~15-20 haunches, 10-12 gray bags and 4-5 yellow bags.

At this point I'm not certain if I'm stubborn or stupid.

 

Next time Chris does a live stream, everybody teleport to him, put on a dragon mask, and use the spit emote in protest.

 

70 Haunches, 1 cowbell so far.

 

Not participating unless I can get a blue dragon mask pattern that works... all of mine still make green masks.

Well, I still am not too depressed because the rarity keeps me in game. I would be upset if suddenly the drop rate was increased substantially. My highlight of the month was FINALLY getting a zombie dolly.

 

My quest is over ...
