Secret Treasure Room Above a Treasure Room? (maybe spoiler)

    While exploring the Kiln Cistern I noticed a doorway in the ceiling above the treasure room in the alchemist room at the end of the quest there.

    Couldn't reach the room, but was able to angle the camera into it.

    As you can see there are some interesting items in the room. A chest, book, key and a chaos symbol on the wall (not pictured). But I couldn't find any way into the room. I was able to barely reach the chest to loot it but nothing else in the room. Any idea how to get into the room?

    They are a thing still. I don't think it would get me up there even with one. It's pretty high up.

    There's a bug with the chain on the shelf you can see on the ceiling. I can get up there by jumping and then blinking while in midair.

    If I remember right, you can jump at it and hit "e" to activate the chain, which then lowers a ladder or something...

    I jumped onto the bookshelf (used a ring of the frogkin) then cast blink, jumped and clicked on the upper floor.

    As @Alley Oop posted, the chain isn't working.

    I got up there tonight.

    Stand on the alchemy table or shelf jump and then use blink. It took a few tries

    Hmm ... wonder if just casting Chaotic Step would have a chance of getting you there without having to do acrobatics or climbing on the furniture.

    Now I have to remember how the water puzzles work in the cistern... And without an "active" map.
