I love the coloring. I would definitely live there.

I feel the urge to pull out my wallet and upgrade to Lord......

That is a fine question Sir Frank. Perhaps it doesn't (it does have a rudder). More or less a floating vessel inspired house.

 

Would make for a nice tavern.

 

Probably needs to be pulled by something, a Tug or something.

It has a rudder, but unless there is a Tesla generator in the bilge I don't think its going anywhere under its own power.

 

The bar is not part of the houseboat, it's put together out of crates (Which does not diminish its coolness, mind! Just means you can recreate it wherever you want hehe)

 

Perfect for a tavern, I'd say!

I like it a lot and it's more luxurious than what I was expecting, choosing between the lord house and the lord houseboat is going to be difficult but at least I have plenty of time to think about it.
Some of the highlights are the Bar/kitchen area, the back veranda for fishing and the open dining area where you can entertain and watch people walk buy on the street.
I think I like the home better than the Lord house but at the same time like all waterfront property's I struggle to determine if it is worth loosing out on the land space to move to a waterfront lot.
Well what ever happens I guess if I feel like I made the wrong choice I can just pack up and move to a different lot (Water/Land) provided a lot is available of course, it's good to have options.

@O'Sullivan = I struggled a bit to get the cash together for this a while back but very pleased I did, if you can manage it I'd go for it I think you might be kicking yourself for not picking it up when you had the chance.

 

I love the new house boat. That thing has style! But the real question is, can it move out on the water?

 

I'd like to see it below deck. It's so open, seems like less space overall compared to it's land counterpart. However, if I'm lucky enough to get a water lot, I'd still deploy it. I agree it seems more fitting as a tavern like setting for some reason. Throwing down the two crafting station, it's going to feel weird. I think I just have the need to compartmentalize things. I think the Galleon is going to nice, but maybe this will grow on me.

Edit: I suppose if I did end up with a water lot I could throw the crafting stations in the 1 story basement... Still curious how that's going to work.

 

I will be the one who breaks the trend and say i hate it. Dollar for dollar you lose so much rel-estate being on the water. This thing would need to be 4 stories to compare. And where does this style come from?

IS this houseboats from India?


I would suggest doing a Google search on Louisiana houseboats for realistic ideas on houseboats. I mean the Lords house looks like a modern church from the outside so why not a modern houseboat? I just think this could have been done a lot better.
