Would be fun if we sometimes found alcohol and maybe food, on enemy humanoids - that players sold to NPC merchants, like gear.

right now, only things with "crafted by" tags are going into the loot table. food and drink do not have them and we would not want them to, because then they wouldn't stack.

but that's a good point: we often find someone's lunch in a supply bundle but never anything to drink, even a non-alchoholic bottle of milk.

even that is meaningful loot - i make a heck of a lot of dough!

I get it that stacking is a feature we dont want to lose, however since 2013 I had planned to play this game as a chef and brewmaster (you can imagine my severe disappointment over the years). In the same way that master carpenters, blacksmiths, and tailors make their mark on Novia, I want to make my brand known with foods and drinks (and potions!). Other crafters can "Advertise" their business by selling to NPCs and thus to the player loot table, but we chefs can not.

I want there to be some way my tavern or cook is known for the items they create.
