    I keep hoping that I can come back in a year, dump the air spec and go back to ranged/light armor and be able to play at least near-endgame content at AL107. I don't see it happening, though.

    I do understand being frustrated when content you once could solo becomes harder or impossible after a change. One of my avatars is an archer/tamer at Adventure level 87. I am curious about your build at level 102 because at level 87 with any high level pet I can clear sieges including those that spawn two Cabalists rather easily and i can take on 2 swamp reapers in Mysterious Swamp, plus handle most troll encounters. I have not tried dragons yet.

    It seems like I often hear players much much higher then me make the same complaint so I often wonder if this has more to do with some other factors like deck aet up or skill choice. Many players seem to stack dps and put little into defensive abilities or they over use abilities that increase attack speed or damage but forget that many of those skills also allows you to take more damage. Also some players with much higher skills then me are often under geared or have stats on their gear does not mesh with what they are trying to accomplish.

    I hope any changes Chris does won't affect your game play too much.

    I'd rather have PvP and PvE separated entirely.. let PvE go as crazy as you want so the time investment is there.. but for PvP I'd like to see it be a capped use-based system without XP. Similar to Ultima Online.

    Relative PvP skills would be capped to 100 and you could set 10 skills to be Prestige skills which would allow you raise them to 120. You'd manage the PvP skills in a PvP tab in the Skills window. The goal would be balancing the system to reduce the amount of 1 hit kills in the game. No more 2k damage to players in PvP.

    Skill gain from lightning, searing ray, fire arrow, fireball, detect hidden, etc would only be triggered in the PvP tab by using them against other Avatars.

    Solo? At AL107? Because I was getting my rear handed to me until I switched to Air/Tactics. (And then again after that build got nerfed.)

    To be fair, though, this was also before the crafting changes. It's my understanding that gear is a lot better since then. Maybe that would make a difference.

    I found a lot of “I’ll quit if I got nerfed” & “don’t nerf my specific build”...

    Well, I think it’s important to focus on meta globally without taking into consideration your lvl-80 skills at Adventurer level 78... If your build include one op skill, someone else will include all existing op skills in his/her build.

    A nerf may hurt you but you might adjust yourself to the new meta, and not adjusting the game to you... vov

    I was surprised when I added +32 strength to my two handed Halberd. I thought it was an accident. Now i'm thinking crafting might interest me again. Perhaps with better gear, it's getting to the point where it might be better than artifacts finally. I'm starting to see people running around without artifacts boosting their abilities way up there.

    So maybe we can now say the best gear IS made by players.

    I hope so :D

    Im 108 i think but i think i play differently than most people. When i Archer i use cover and free attack religiously.

    I recently found out that archer specialists can use disable shot on bosses, and i wonder if the can also slow unicorns down

    I dont have nearlyas high stats as other folks but i hear you can gear up to 400 dex now and that would be crazy for an archer i’d imagine.

    The two benifits i get thoe most using range is Free attack is the strongest of any weapon, and you can use the cover system super easily as an archer, not so much with melee stuff

    We can say that now if we start from the mindset that a crafters power lies NOT in the base item and weather or not they personally crafted said base item (be it an artifact or something else) but in the master works and enchants the crafter can do to said base item. An artifact is all fine and dandy and some have some usable stats on them but give a crafter a run at that artifact and it really shine so yes, a crafter is directly responsible for the best and most powerful gear in game. Happy now??. :)

    I dunno if its at a certain level or not, but im not a specialist and i cant disable K’ongg, @Sean Silverfoot is a specalist and he can slow him down all day

    Here are the nerfs that I have heard Chris talking about on his streams:
    • Reducing the duration of AOEs.
    • Tying focus cost for magic skills to attunement (higher attunement = more focus).
    • Reducing the focus cost benefit for stacking/charging skills.
    • Decreasing the damage benefit from stacking/charging skills.

    Please feel free to add anything that I missed.

    I don't think so, unless that's a new change. I was ranged spec for a long time, and it never worked on bosses before. Well, one type of boss, but I'm keeping my mouth shut in case that's a bug.

    We'll see if it was a mistake very shortly.

    I'm about to make a full set of armor and gear. Will be interesting to see if I can give high end stats to gear. I figure since EP1 Tier 5 will be the low end of the bar for EP2, we will need . it.

    Ok, I'm really interested in how disabling bosses is possible as an archer since my avatar is (eventually) heading there.

    @Sean Silverfoot - what would it take to make this happen?

    Disabling Shot, presumably. But I think that Arkah is misinformed. Unless, as I noted, that has changed in the last 2-3 months.

    Though, I recall it did actually work on unicorns, but they would immediately cast Dash and negate it. And then I would die.

    K’kongg was the only one i fought with a ranged specialist helping. He could deffinately disable shot it and i couldnt. Mine didnt work at all and his had the full duration

    @Numa, Not sure to tell you the truth, I do not number crunch my char at all. In any case. He is an archer /ranger Ranged(spec).

    I had joined Arkah in his fight and he noticed it. I was just hitting him with disabling shot and fireflies as fast as I could. Since I had never fought him I have no clue. @Arkah EMPstrike mentioned it as we were fighting and we continued.

    @Cora Cuz'avich not misinformed, he was watching as we fought. I know he fights him a lot. So I trust his word that it was happening. *shrugs

    Trying to track down the differences archerwise between you two. Would guess that Sean has the ranged specialization and Arkah has none right?

    Also, am thinking that Arkah doesn't have fireflies. How high is your fireflies skill Sean? Are you specialized in the Lunar tree?

    @Numa i dont believe either of us had fireflies during that fight.

    I also noticed somone that can very easily Skewer things like destroyer corpions and Dragons, niether of which i can skewer. But i believe this person has around 300 strength which is double what i got.

    When QA is up i can test the polearm spec thing pretty quick
