Confusion is one of the most un-fun mechanics in this game...

Just to address some of the comments: yes there are several ways to get rid of confusion. This is fine if I'm fighting say a troll, I fail to jump when he does and then I get knocked down and confused. The troll isn't constantly jumping. The problem is that there are a number of mobs (like Envy Angel) that continuously apply confusion. It makes removing the confusion a futile waste of time and consumables. I don't care how you want to characterize it, to me it's not fun!

Fortunately, as was pointed out earlier in this thread, using turn keys with mouselook at least makes it tolerable.

 

Until someone realizes that there is a workaround, and fixes balances it.

Agreed! Agreed! Agreed! Would not be so bad either if it were only one or two MOB's that cast it, but it seems like some devleoper said "Wow, this is funny" and then stuck it on every MOB. It is just not funny anymore. It is a pain in the Arse. There is difference between a challenge and a nuisance!!

 

I mentioned to Chris on His stream. He said he would look into it. Our strategies for doing things in this game need to pay off. If we use purify or smelling salt etc then it must help us.
