Does anybody else find it weird that there are so many liches in Novia? Liches are usually rare super powerful bosses, but they are (or were) basically mid level mobs in SotA. And now that they're not mid level, it's like putting thirty dragons in every tier 5 scene.

Good point. Probably just another unexpected impact to making changes to address a specific challenge without considerable assessment of the global impact. OTOH, i wouldn't mind so many of them as much if they actually dropped loot commensurate with their challenge. I will not hold my breath for that one...

So, in the current (R74) climate, what are now the best solo grinding spots?

Everything in ESO scales to your level, so it all feels the same. It also makes it feel like there's no progression.

Though, there are exceptions. I couldn't solo dolmens or dungeons (public or group) at first. I struggled with delve bosses early on, too. Eventually I was able to do dolmens. Then public dungeons. Currently, I can do some of the group dungeons on normal, but some still kick my butt. Still haven't done a world boss or vet dungeon, but I've gotten one or two WBs down to half health or so. I have found that as I play, I am able to do more and more.

But all that said, yeah, most content scales. Not as much of a problem when you're doing quests, though. Given that I only play a little on weekends, it's unlikely I'll run out of things to do.

Not to mention, grinding hasn't really been necessary yet, at CP210.

It actually makes sense for quests and I hope that's what they do for episode 2 quests (especially the main storyline).

Agreed. I really don't want to come back to shroud and discover I'll need to grind for a few months to do ep2 quests.

Anyone else notice that the mobs have grown more hit points lately?

Undead mobs for sure, skeletons and lichs are definitely tougher. Has anything else gotten more hp?

We did the Lich boss room pretty fast in the Rise yesterday, with 3 high levels and 2 new players, but yeah, all skeleton has double hp.

The skeleton prince in the beginner's catacomb in Soltown has 311 hp.

Wonder what the other catacombs are like now?

And give life mages a little offense? Too logical!
