    Can anyone confirm that we indeed get the masterwork boost from Wayland loop and etc.? I never see anything that confirms that on the tooltips or on the masterworking chances that come up.

    Yes, the success change increases when they are worn, so they do work. You will probably only see this on 2nd or maybe even 3rd/4th masterwork attempts depending on your skill level.
