A question for some the old school UO folks here...what creatures were in UO that are not yet in SOTA today?

Seems like this would be a good thing to look at when populating new potential critters in game.

The Ultima™ intellectual property is owned by Electronic Arts. This includes creatures that are unique to the specific Ultima™ setting. So they can never, under any circumstance, add something like Mongbats or Headless.

They can however do variants of them, that skirt around the intellectual property issue.

Headless is used in many other game and sound very generic.

Other games have a headless zombie creature specifically named Headless? Can you give me an example of a specific game that has that?

The thread title is funny because I put up a thread titled Low-hanging monsters a couple of years ago.

Its only going to be easy to put in if the 3d models are available though or if they're variants of existing monsters in game. My old thread is mainly about the former, I have a few ideas about the latter and will do a thread on that soon.

One reason I got into this game in the first place is because they said they were using Unity Assets.

Use of all of these is available for $350. Our trolls are ugly why?

How challenging would it be to add assets like these?

well when you look at it closely, the texture aint quite right for the high quality setting of this game... so remaking texture, probably reforming the mesh a bit, its some work. Looking at the shape of these creatures something tell me its already been used ;p

Don't get me wrong, I don't think new monsters are ever low hanging. However, when they are being implemented, I would really love to see some of these being used.

Rodents of Unusual Size? I don't think they exist... Seriously, i'd pony up the $350 for Chris to get some more variety of monsters.

Thats a long list. And until they can get the art to implement them i dont see any of them coming into play in Sota. ORCS, headless ones, Ogres to name a few

I can see the advert in my head: Come back to SotA... New creatures... Same loot...

Fix the loot problem first.. < - - - Seriously, it's an embarassment.
