Hard reboot just because.
Log in to SotA....
Turn character to the left....
Screen black.....werid tone.....
Same crash as before......
Grrrrrrr!!!!!

Are you running Windows 10? Or another OS? What version if so?

Does the screen turn black when you turn only? Are there other things you can do to also replicate this issue?

It's been a while since I did it, however I understand there is a Unity log stored in a datafolder. I'm curious if that has any interesting tidbits to provide a clue where to start troubleshooting.

Since it is happening to you and not sure of any others that I've heard. Let us help you. Does your system meet the minimum requirements? We have a lot of tech savvy players here. Hopefully they can help give answers. Recently my computer was acting up saying it was overheating and wouldn't let me get past that. It ended up being a virus, some wiring corrosion, and mother board needed re-seated, plus it was too dusty. I have an ssd, 32gb of ram, and an nvidia 1060. So things can also be wrong with our computers. Not saying anything is wrong with yours but just as an example I share my recent experience. I wish you the best. It is no fun when a game you're trying to play won't work.

Making some progress I see on a support ticket with you, looks like you're having some better luck trying some things. Rav, the techie, came to my rescue to offer suggestions. BTW, don't think I suggested, I closely monitor my heat buildup on my computer -- always have. Ever use an app like HWMonitor? If I hear my ol' fans work a bit hard, I open that bad boy up and keep an eye on my temps.
