POTPIE again

After the last patch, it is not possible to log into the game:

[POTPIE] No reponse from the game service. Either the game service is offline or a port may be blocked on your firewall or router.

I do not use a firewall and I have not changed my router settings.

Yes, I am still not able to log into the game. This started to happen after downloading the last patch (a small one, only a few MB).

I am assuming I am only one who receives this error...

While waiting for support to answer, I have called my ISP. They have no issue connections nor they are blocking any ports.

This same POTPIE error happened a few times in the past after patch updates:

Maybe the cause is the same. Anyone experiencing the same error?

 

What OS are you using? Not sure if its possible to do a trace route to the server to determine if your connection is even getting to the server. usually when I get that message its my connection to my router and or a connection between my location to the server. I live in Rural and my internet routes are not always the best... @Elgarion is there an IP we can trace route too?

After downloading today's patch (1119.9MB) it works again!

wonder if that was some if the Linux issues they were having which were recently fixed. there was a bad Linux build.
