Bard Trainer

I've heard a couple of worrying things in the last couple of days and people saying that the bard trainer is going to be in the new (kinda) Ulthiem?

A couple of things to keep in mind if the trainer does go here:

Pay Wall for Skills
Since you can only get to this land if you purchased episode 2 you are locking these skills behind a paywall.
If you can access this adventure scene without owning episode 2...what exactly did we pay for when we pre-purchased last year?

Is the goal to have a skill tree available in each episode to give people an incentive to purchase each episode?
This is fine if that is the overall strategy.

Just making sure that the decision to put the bard trainer here wasn't just a "this would be cool" without fully considering the implecations.

Skills arent even working for the most part, what do you want the trainer to do?

 

Maybe bard skills are also considered episode 2 content? I mean, I would presume that much (if not all) new content would now be considered part of episode 2.

 

They were working on QA?

 

Currently, the Master Tactics Trainer (Corsten) in Desolis on Live trains the Bard skill (he only trains the first skill).

 

No, he trains the first skill (Melody of mending) only.
For the rest you need the actual bard trainer that isn't in yet and is, by all accounts, going to be in an episode 2 only zone.

 

It will be in today, patch coming a bit later.

Issue 1,000,001 of bugs and issues that need to be fixed later down the road. What is the point of putting the bard skill tree and not a trainer, and having the tact trainer only training one skill.

 

I thought Bard skill was a ep 2 content. It makes sense that it is otherwise why get Ep 2? OH yea, for the cool bard skill.

 

Sounds like no bard trainer until tomorrow.

 

In which case, why have the first skill available in Desolis?

 

A Trial skill? Lol!
