    Details: I remember during one of Chris's streams during Mount Midir contest time he discovered that player mailboxes weren't automatically usable by everyone but relied on owner permissions and was constantly placing mailboxes all over the POT so he could mail prizes and such - If I recall correctly this functionality was going to be changed - so reporting this just in case.
    Steps to Reproduce: Try using another player's mailbox on a lot to which you have no permissions.

    @Echondas If a governor puts a mailbox in the POT then anyone can use it like in a bank in an NPC town. (if you have rights to someones lot you can use their mailbox)

    In real life you don't get your mail from your neighbors mailbox .. but you can go to post office to pick it up if you have a mailbox there. This is same concept as npc bank mailboxes, and the POT community mailboxes. Make your POT governor put out a mailbox somewhere.

    @Echondas fyi also you can set a house to be a guild house, and then everyone in the guild can use that mailbox. Not the same thing as everyone altogether, of course.

    As a note, making player mailboxes also function as a public dropbox would be really nice.

    Id prefer if this were a separate item.

    My main reason is that I like more variety of placeable items in the game that can be interacted with.

    Also I drink the kool aid of the "Unix Philosophy" and believe each tool must have only one single responsibility. I have a feeling the game will require less maintenance overall if there are many very simple items, rather than fewer but more complex items.

    Greetings all.

    So if you go into a bank there is a mailbox on the wall for all to use and if you get the Governor to set out a Post-Mounted Mail box everyone can use it also. If it is a Player placed Mailbox just add any that need access to lot as guest and they can use it as well.

    Most Player Owned Towns also have a public mailbox or three.
