Crash to Desktop 100% repro @ Rift's End when "Resume" game at this location

    Title: Crash to Desktop 100% repro @ Rift's End when "Resume" game at this location
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? Yes
    Details: Even with "Cull Interior Decorations" and "Aggressive Decoration Loading" OFF - which mitigated whatever issue is occurring - is back - I believe related to whatever deco or housing is at this location
    Steps to Reproduce: Load to this location in Rift's End. Quit the game. Load the game, login, and pick 'resume'. Game will crash after scene starts to appear and deco starts to stream in.

    Dammit... yep, new Unity introduced a new 100% crash. The difference between you and your friend is only that when you load into a scene, you load houses and decos near you PLUS your own house and decos. This could happen to anyone.

    This is also deep in Unity's code and I can't see what is causing it. I get a call stack but where it exits code we can access is not useful. Also, when I see one crash like this there are almost certainly a half dozen more that we just didn't trigger.

    Rolling back unity versions and kicking out a new build. :(

    Digging into this a bit more. This is a crash that has been in Unity for a year or more and has been reported by a number of other games.

    Thanks to this 100% repro, I'm going to try and see if I can find a work around. This is a crash on zone thing and the crash definitely existed in the older unity (reports in google show it going back to 2018.4.8 and we're on 2018.4.19. Might be if I can find a work around for this one then it might fix some of the crashing in the current client. Could be huge!

    Chris, have you looked at #pragma geometry geom? It may be forcing OpenGL and this may or not be supported. You may need to take a look at the OpenGL ES +AEP lines. Have a looked here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/SL-...694.391829243.1587328393-308409237.1586884332

    I noticed the scroll on my mouse does not work with Zoom at all anymore on QA or Active. It still works in other programs including to scroll the forums but not for zoom in SotA. I looked thru the Interface settings (I think Interface or maybe Control) and noticed Field of View which appears to do the same thing would not let me bind the Scroll-up or Scroll-down to the key binding. Could this be the problem? I remember a couple of months ago we had another issue with not being able to bind a key. Sorry for the lack of more info but it is late here and the mind is already asleep.

    Yes @devilcult is correct I am on a 2017 i7 MacBook Pro with a Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB running Catalins (10.15.4), Sorry for the delay in responding I am 9 hours ahead of Austin time. Good morning all.

    So after getting some sleep last night I went back to recheck what I was thinking and it turns out that sleep is a good thing. The action I was thinking I could bind to was the Field of View slider in the VIdeo settings. Please ignore my ramblings of the previous day. I did wonder though if the alternate key bindings work for zoom, by default there are PageUp and PageDown. I changed them to something on my keyboard and tried and they do not work.
