How do you train distract if it won't gain lvls?

    this skill will not gain lvls xp whatever but will consume pool xp to keeps its level. so how do I raise it to 10?
    I tried it on a wolf and on a bandit and neither got distracted in or out of combat.

    What does the skill show as it's current "state" ?
    Is it the - sign or green triangle or brown triangle or what ?

    Yeah that one got me also as all the other skills started with the green arrow.
    I hate to admit it but It was days before I even realised the problem =)
