    From my (very extensive) experience, everything about Windows is slower, costlier and more convoluted. Obtaining the installation image is convoluted, preparing the installation media is more difficult and time consuming, there's extra steps (and cost) to obtain and enter a product key, AMDs GPU drivers are not part of that installation (or updates) and require a separate download and install, other devices also typically require separate driver installation... the list goes on. If something goes wrong, good luck because you are not the root user on a Windows system; you do not have complete control.

    That's because all of their performance improvement effort has been exclusively for Windows, hence my original post. As for switching to Windows, not gonna happen.
