I supose it is the earth elemental but dont know if I am right.
If so, how does it work? Do I have to level up all the skills from the earth tree for the attunement or the skill work separately?
I know if I charge the skill pet will get stronger.

Pets will be stronger with the specialization from the magic school it is in. Earth elemental, Ice elemental, Daemon and (maybe) the Phoenix should be not too bad. Possibly the Lich as well.

No water either, it does heal a bit.

From my own observation, the Earth Elemental is basically the more tank like summons. But some of them are very useful for different situations. Like the Wisp has crazy magic resistance. Gee, I wonder what creature that could possibly be useful against... ;)

Water elemental has a decent attack and, if you're water specialized, it provides a very strong heal. It's also very resistant to fire magic if you're specialized. The air elemental essentially does nothing except lower your focus.

Sure, if you could get it to hold aggro. It's debuffs are also garbage but it's still more valuable than the air elemental.

I want an archery elemental. Like, a dog, with arrows in its mouth. And when it barks, it shoots arrows at your enemies.

Should clarify that the summoned pets don't actually tank. The earth ele can probably take the most hits, but the reality is unless you're letting it solo something, it has no tools to keep aggro. If you want a pet that actually taunts, you need taming spec not focus spec.

Not to argue with you, but my Water Elemental tends to gather agro quite well when I am in the Compendium of Pain and Suffering, especially during the 8th wave where a bunch of skeletal archers spawn, My water Elemental takes agro and acts as a nice meat shield. He also takes agro in Tartarus, most often Mage agro, and since he is immune to Fire, He tanks quite a bit while I am busy dealing with other mobs.

But yeah, Elementals don't have any taunt skills or taunting power, so unless they were the first target, they won't draw agro.
