Returning player, longtime Ultima fan

    Hi all,

    I am just getting back into this great game. Started with Ultima VI and played all of them since then.

    Just completed the Solace Bridge Outskirts and have my house deed. Started mining, smelting, and blacksmithing as my side business.

    Would love to go adventuring with more active players. Are there good places for finding active guilds? Starting tips are welcome!

    Hi Estraven and welcome back!

    I'm still pretty much a newbie myself, and am exploring the possibilities of the game. I'm not in a guild (yet) so can't help you there. But I use the new player guides on this forum a lot, and the Sota wiki and the world atlas and the ShroudOfTheAvatar fandom, and whatever I can google. And if that all fails, the people on this forum are very helpful!

    Welcome and please know that there are a lot of helpful Avatars in this world. @Elgarion has a list of Help for New and Existing Players. It is a long list so be sure to scroll thru all of it. As for Guild there is the Player Guilds and Groups. I am in the EVL Guild and they have scheduled events and group runs. Check out the EVL Guild info and the Events page

    The most important thing, IMHO, is have fun and explore. If you need help message me here or in game at Warrior B'Patrick.

    Thanks all! I am in a guild now, thanks to GDL for the warm welcome! Finished blood river outskirts and heading to Highvale to do the Courage quests. Having a blast in this game so far!

    Hi, I have been playing this game on and off for years. I was a long time UO player also. I've had a hard time finding people in this game, especially ones that stay. I just checked out your Twitch stream. Its nice. I can't believe how many people were standing around you. I am activly looking for a guild now.

    Thanks all! Still going strong here and having lots of fun. Adventurer level 73 now and GM'd my first skill (bladed combat). I stream on twitch 2-3 times a week (7-10 PM EST). I'm so amateur, but I find it's a great way to meet the community and meet people in game.

    @MaverickJesterX , my guild has been really great to me. If you are interested, contact @Violet Ronso ...

    @Duke Gréagóir , definitely want to pick up the bard skills. Have not tried it at all yet. Thanks for the info!
