Just a message to say that I love the Taming system. I think it's well designed and well executed. Don't change a thing! Things that I especially love are: - A new pet doesn't have to be trained from zero - Pets hold aggro very well - While gathering, I still can direct my pet towards that pesky wolf that's coming closer - Pets are responsive - The cost to become a functional tamer is doable when you don't want to become a GM in a week, and a Tamer doesn't have to be a GM to be functional - The Escape skill works very well to decrease aggro on the player So thanks! Taming in WOW has the opposite problem when trying to level a pet that is much lower level than you. It can be frustrating. I'd like to see a balance between the two. The problem with SOTA taming is that once you have your skills where you want them each pet you tame is just ready to go. From a time point of view it is great, especially if you can only play for a small amount of time each week. I do feel less invested in my pets though because of it. I'd like to see some input into my pets growth after I tame it but not from the ground up necessarily.
Also desperately need taming enchants so it's not a big compromise to stats or another skill as using the taming artifacts is at the moment.
