    Makes you imagine what happened to the owner of the one blue shoe? In my day we had many names for that shoe...a flipper, a zori, a flip flop, beach walker, and though my memory is fading, there are more. Perhaps readers of this OP can complete the list? If this was my chair, I would put a stinger on the end of that tail.
