[Resolved] Game Freezes every time for all tested players entering POT New Britannian Market

    Hello,

    My friend, character name, Lothos, is experiencing his game freezing/locking up, and/or hanging when trying to port to POT :New Britt Market, near Brittany. He was tring to use the recall scroll to his house, also tried a TP to zone scroll and that did not work either. He is attempting to see if restarting his computer will rectify the issue.

    Title: Game Freezes when entering my town New Britannian Market

    Details: I cannot enter my town, nobody else may enter my town, and the game hangs/freezes at 64%. Loading into my town worked on Friday so the change has happened since Friday. I confirmed with other players they could not enter the town as well.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Enter town
    2) Game freezes at 64% and says below:

    i can confirm a lock-up at 64% when trying to enter via zone scroll. i was able to go in successfully when walking in from the overworld.

    @Chaos Shadowstorm @Lord Andernut Could you each please try entering again and let me know if you can still duplicate it? (also advise of the method of entry [walking up to it, recall, or other scroll] as well as the entrance selected if not recall)

    Just tried a teleport to zone scroll and entering from overland map. No issue. Unfortunately. Nvidia 451.67 drivers. If this helps any.

    I tried starting in the POT (where I was at log-off) a couple of times, then I tried from the overworld to enter my POT and asked some others to try logging in and nobody else could as well. Glad to hear Anpu had no issue. I'll try tonight before (and after) updating my drivers.

    First, I apologize the title of my post made no sense, autocorrect maybe.... I will ask my friend to test again. For some odd reason, I did not experience such issues, Ive been TPing back and forth all day without issue. I will test again today too.

    I was one of the players who tried last night to get in, via teleport. I hung at 64%. Today, I could both teleport to zone in (to town boundary 1), and enter via the overworld (appearing at the docks). One difference between the two days, my NVidia drivers updated today, to 456.55.

    Problem seems resolved - I did not update my drivers before trying. As far as I can tell, I changed nothing on my rig/drivers/etc.

    This just happened to me as well, was stuck at 64%. Used a teleport to zone scoll from Jade Gardens to New Brittanian Market. I just teleported to the default highlighted area. I didn't select anything.

    It's intermittent and seems totally unrelated to the method of entering the town (via siege, via bypassing the siege, teleporting into town, start in town) I tried them all but then 10 minutes later it was working for me again. I hope the sota logs players attached above help pinpoint the issue!

    @Echondas No. I have not seen it in a few weeks.

    My sales in NBM are still crazy up and down, which was the case when the problem started. I had assumed that this was related to players not being able to enter town.

    Was there a specific fix made for this issue? Or are we just getting lucky? Or were we getting unlucky in the past? :p
