[As Designed] 3x3 2 entrances are not craftable

    It used to be that when you crafted a 3x3 stone dungeon room and it came with 2 entrances.
    At some point this changes so that there is now:
    Stone Dungeon Room (3x3) AND
    Stone Dungeon Room 3x3 2 Entrances

    I've spent 2 hours running around Novia and cannot find the blueprint for the 2 entrances version for sale anywhere.

    Please make this blueprint available on NPC Scribes like the others.

    "stone dungeon room 3x3 2 entrances" is part of the tome and mirror crown store packs. i don't know if that's intended or ALL the plain stone blueprints are supposed to be on the booksellers.

    Not sure when that changed as it used to be craftable using the default 3x3 blueprint.

    To be clear, the "2 entrances" recipe wasn't even a thing until recently, it isn't on sotawiki or in any of the published dungeon guides when dungeons came out. Its a recent addition, or rather, a recent change. But we've been actually making a 2-entrance 3x3 room since day 1 of dungeon implementation using the npc bought recipe. Until last month, when the same exact recipe started making a room with 1 entrance.

    The 3x3 store buyable blueprint that you can buy, used to create a 3x3 room with an entrance on two sides. We have made many of these. (There really wasn't even a need for a 1 entrance variant as you can simply not use the other entrance as its a flat wall)

    When we went to buy the blueprint like always and make it, it made the wrong room. At first we thought we bought the wrong blueprint, but it turns out the recipe/name has changed to require a blueprint that apparently no longer exists on the vendor.

    So are we saying they ADDED the room with 1 entrance only, but instead of putting the new addition into the crown pack, changed the existing dungeon room blueprint that we've been using since day 1, removed it from the npc store, and put it into a crown pack and put the new recipe into the npc store? Sounds convoluted....and also confusing that out of all the generic stone blueprints, 'one' would be on the crown store?

    Note: We have made like, dozens of the 3x3 2 entrances room WITH the blueprint purchased from the bookseller before whatever happened, happened. Scoffer alone has made over 40 of these.

    ...is there another case where one blueprint can make two different items, aside from doing a convert for spawned/unspawned versions? if not, it sounds like there WAS a bug, they recognized it, and fixed it in a way not well thought-through.

    No, sorry if not explaining it well.

    The 3x3 npc blueprint and 3x3 recipe previously made a room with 2 entrances. Many, many times with many many happily created.

    Something happened.

    Now, the same recipe and same blueprint make a room with 1 entrance, and a new "2 entrances" recipe, whose blueprint is in the crown pack, has appeared.

    Since recipes in your book are in order you learned them, the original 3x3 recipe, which again, we have been using since forever, is one of the first entries in my book. But it now makes something different than it used to.

    So there's several questions here -

    1) was it a bug that we were ever able to make a 2 entrance room and the recipe was 'fixed' ?
    2) why do we need a 1 entrance and 2 entrance variant when you can simple not attach an exit on that wall?
    3) why is this so overcomplicated?


    It actually upon further messing seems even more complicated.

    "Some of" the 3x3 crafted rooms are a square with a 'blue X' on all 4 walls
    Some have it only on 2 walls
    Some have it on 3 walls
    Its the same room!
    We thought maybe it was due to things being blocked that the X wouldn't show up, but there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason to it, where there's nothing blocking it sometimes the X just isn't there.

    All of the default Stone Dungeon set are craftable with the exception of the 3 x 3 2 entrance which leads me to believe this was just missed when the new recipe was added.

    Even taking a look at the contents of the Ancient Tome entrance plus 50 point dungeon (which was originally a place holder until we got the single pieces) it contains the following:

    Recipe: Stone Dungeon hall (Intersection L) - available on scribe for 300 gold
    3 x Blueprint: Stone Dungeon hall (Intersection L) - available on scribe for 100 gold
    Recipe: Stone Dungeon Room (1x1) - available on scribe for 300 gold
    Blueprint: Stone Dungeon Room (1x1) - available on scribe for 100 gold
    Recipe: Stone Dungeon Hall (Straight) - available on scribe for 300 gold
    6 x Blueprint: Stone Dungeon Hall (Straight) - available on scribe for 100 gold
    Recipe: Stone Dungeon Hall (Intersection T) - available on scribe for 300 gold
    2 x Blueprint: Stone Dungeon Hall (Intersection T) - available on scribe for 100 gold
    Single Connection Stone Dungeon Foyer - recipe available on scribe for 300 gold, blueprint is 500 gold

    These two are not available for gold despite being "Stone Dungeon"
    Recipe: Stone Dungeon Room 3x3 2 entrance
    Blueprint: Stone Dungeon Room 3 x 3 2 Entrances

    These can be understood being in the store as they are a different type (Ancient)
    Eternal Pattern: Ancient Tome Dungeon Entrance
    Recipe: Dungeon Stone to Ancient Stone Transition
    Recipe: Ancient Stone Dungeon Room 16x16 A
    3 x Blueprint: Transition Stone Dungeon to Ancient Stone
    1 x Blueprint Ancient Stone Room 16x16 A

    I can't believe that it was intended that the only piece for the stone dungeon set that is not available in game and can only be purchased on the coto store as part of a bundle that costs 1200 crowns. And you only get 1 of them. And you end up with 18 pieces that you can buy in game for pennies.

    It is much much more likely that when they added the 2 entrance variant they just forgot to add the blueprint to the vendor.

    In a bizarre turn of events we reviewed some of the 3 x 3 dungeon rooms that we already had set up and are seeing that the number of entrances seem to be random....

    These are using the same blueprint to make the same room and placed from the same stack:

    This one has 4 entrances and build points on each wall

    This one (Same Room) has no connection to the East or West but has one North and one South
    [​IMG]

    This one (Same room) has a connection North, South and West but no East connection????

    We did a fly around check and none of the points are blocked, its completely open in most cases

    this "problem with the different entrances come from placed Items in the room. I have plenty of the same room.

    If planting beds are an inch to near to one wall, the opiton to make an entrance is gone.

    You can try to remove the 2 bed to at the east wall; then the opurtunify for a next entrance is shown up.

    btw: there were always two different blueprints needed for these rooms.

    So has it been that the blueprint for the second version was available before or was it never added in the first place?

    each of the blueprints came in game with the dungeoun rooms.

    so:
    since the 2-entrance 3*3 room is at the store, the blueprint also is only at the store (only at Dungeoun Entrance packs); this room is a two-story room with the large chandelier in the middle

    the other 3*3 room is a 4 entrance-room with only one story and no chandelier; this blueprint is buyable at the book merchant and came in game with starting the dunegouns

    and you could not us the buyable blueprint to create the room from the entrance pack

    [As Designed] - Over time, some of these were renamed for clarity purposes (probably some still need to be renamed). 3x3, 16x16, 7m, etc. were all close to the same overall size, yet had differences in the alcove hall entrances, or the wall position pole that could turn to an arch to build off of (as in the 3x4). At this point, it is as designed.
