Try assassin’s blade \o/

With all the new crit damage bonus stacking these days, try them assassins blades. Be sure to boost your crit chance as much as possible.

Also dual wield them and use riposte

Is riposte working now? That's the first time I've ever heard anyone say "use riposte" ever in 5 years, hahaha!

That looks like very sexy numbers and makes me sad I dropped blades not too long ago!

 

riposte has actually been powerful for a long time, it just happened to get broken and not work at soem poitn but yes, its back \o/ and with a bigger time-window for use.

But yes my numbers with thrust were getting over 1,100 (not stacked) with fireflies and savagae sonata, which is aroudn what i do with the same situation with my meteoric polearm that has between 2 and 3 times more base damage and a passive with a huge crit bonus. So the assassins blade actually has the biggest base crit chance multiplier in the game.

Which is why im sugegsting yall tactics specialists and folks who can stack crit damage and stuff better than i can to try it out! \o/ i wanna see how big it can get from such a humble little no-stats blade

 

There has been a sync issue with riposte forever. If you’re the scene master you’ll get some to land in pve, if you’re not it will depend on the quality of the master. In PvP, good luck.

 

Maybe that is what has been fixed, Arkansas seems to say it is working better suddenly, so maybe a ghost fix?

 

Or, he’s seeing success when he’s the zone master, and he doesn’t pvp yes

 

They increased the time window to use it last week

 

Increase or not, just tested it; working for Sara in the Fall as zone master, not working for me while hes the he's master.

He leaves, so Im the master, then it works for me. He comes back, doesnt work for him while Im the master. So, same problem as it's always been.

If somone whos tactics spec that stacks crit damage tries the assassin's blade let me know! Im curious to see the crits!

ima help with feedback on that vespers \o/ i just tested it with a buddy and its very unusable if you arent scene master

 

Solving sync is not a simple task, we bugged chris about it every release for a long while but gave up a year or two ago, it’s tricky business but it has gotten better than it was

 

These skills should be reworked to operate a different way.

 

I agree here Barugon. some skills need to be remade as they don't work with the current tech as planned. It would be far easier to rework it than rework the backend forward to just get a skill working. mind you over time the whole rework will still happen but than you have broken skills for that duration.

 

I just had somebody try the assassins blade with all the buffs, and it was pretty strong. They didnt have very good blade skills (lvl 40 thru 80 thrust) at it seems lack its crit damage could match a sylvan spear! But its crit chance is noticably lower
