    Hello all, nice to meet you, I'm Cydaine, you can just call me Cyd, much easier lol. I'm a NA player who can't seem to get the game to load (been trying on an off since June 2019) so here's to hoping I will manage to pass the battle of solace bridge loading screen sometime in the future. I look forward to meeting and playing with you all!

    If you are playing through Steam, do a file check to make sure something isn't missing. Happens occasionally.

    Otherwise, post your computer specs and we might be able to help.

    You probably need 12 GB of RAM minimum to run SotA. There are a lot of assets and it's very memory intensive.

    Welcome @Cydaine. I hope you can update your ram to 16gb. Then I bet you'll be good to go. I'm Majoria in game if I can help.

    @Alley Oop @Cydaine
    But, 8 gig is enough. Its probably your video ram that is causing the problem. You can get a 2 gig card for under a hundred, even for an old motherboard.
    If you can fit a 4 gig video ram nvidea card on that mother board you will be able to load and run the game fine. If not, get a 2 gig card and you can load and run the game with some hiccups still.
    You do need to set the video settings to "fastest". You can do this before trying to load the game in the loader window.
    One reccomendation I havent seen yet in this thread is, use the windows program manager to delete the whole game from your machine and reload it sometime when you have a decent internet connection. That gives you a good chance to get good copies of all the needed files.

    Good luck!

    The system has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti if I'm reading the specs correctly.

    That should be more than adequate. Minimum specs for SOTA are advertised as NVIDIA 960 / AMD 560.

    System RAM appears to be the issue. SOTA's minimum spec is 12 GB.

    What kind of connection does your system have to the internet?

    Greetings Cydaine
    I agree with others that the problem may be the memory. Unfortunately you only have 2 RAM slots HP 82F1 So if you have 1 full and 1 empty you could add 1 more 8. If not you will need to take out the twoo 4gig sticks and buy two 8 gig sticks. You should always add memory in identical pairs. Also I recommend quitting all programs and running a network speed test (www.speedtest.net) to check if you are holding a good connection. A wired connection is always better than a wireless because you never know how strong your wireless signal is based on your distance to the equipment. If all this does not help I would check what services are running in the back ground. Use the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keyboard shortcut to start Taskmanager. Let me know if I can help more. My user name is the same on forums and inn game and add me too friends when you get in.

    Thank you all for the wonderful assistance and suggestions, I happened to have an extra stick around and was able to upgrade to 12G RAM (but with only 10 unreserved :(, oh well) but will be 16 on Wednesday, swapped processors as well to a different one. Once I get the 16G of RAM installed I will give it the old college try again and hope for the best! My biggest mistake was using the "can you run it" details instead of the SotA website for requirements this whole time. Also, for those who asked, I'm hardlined for my connection and my speed is 100M, so that is a non-issue.
