Title: Can't get Wildflower Quest in Tanglemire
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? No
Details: No keyword in conversations with Myndill or Frida results in receiving the wildflower quest. Initially, I spoke to Frida, but didn't get the quest. Went to the grave, sawteh urn. Couldn't interact with urn. Decided to go to Spindelskog and see if getting a wildflower made any difference. Got one, but still couldn't get the quest to start. That was when I though to try and find Frida's Husband Myndill. Same results, no keywords resulted in the quest starting.
Steps to Reproduce: Speak to Myndill or Frida
    User Specs:
    OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
    CPU: AMD FX(tm)-9370 Eight-Core Processor (8) System RAM: 32734

[1/29/2021 9:47:15 PM] Frida: I do carpentry work with my husband, Myndill. His hands aren't very good these days, so I do the fine work while he handles the simpler aspects. When needed, we'll also coffins.

[1/29/2021 9:47:22 PM] Ian Berie: Myndill
[1/29/2021 9:47:22 PM] Frida: My husband, Myndyll, and I are getting on in years, and it's hard to keep up with our granddaughter, Disa. But, she's a good girl and we love her.

[1/29/2021 9:47:29 PM] Ian Berie: Disa
[1/29/2021 9:47:29 PM] Frida: Disa is our only grandchild. Myndill and I took her in after her mother, our daughter died. Poor Myndis...

[1/29/2021 9:47:34 PM] Ian Berie: Myndis
[1/29/2021 9:47:34 PM] Frida: Myndill and I loved our daughter, Myndis, so very much. It broke our hearts when she died looking for wildflowers. We take care of Disa now, her only child.
    [1/29/2021 9:47:34 PM]
[1/29/2021 9:47:40 PM] Ian Berie: wildflower
[1/29/2021 9:47:40 PM] Frida: We've heard you've been helping others in our village. This may sound strange, but would you be able to bring us a wildflower from the cursed wood?
    [1/29/2021 9:47:40 PM]
[1/29/2021 9:47:40 PM] Sorgin Txakal (To Universe): corpse explosion is a very powerful spell
[1/29/2021 9:47:49 PM] Ian Berie: Yes, I'm not afraid.
[1/29/2021 9:47:49 PM] Frida: Oh, wonderful! Our daughter loved the Spindeskog Wildflower but they grow too close to the edge of the cursed wood. Myndis died recently and it would honor her memory if you were to bring back a fresh one that we can place at her grave. There's an old one on my table if you want to know what they look like.
[1/29/2021 9:47:49 PM] I was asked to gather a Spindelskog Wildflower.
    [1/29/2021 9:47:49 PM]

[1/29/2021 9:48:06 PM] Ian Berie: help
[1/29/2021 9:48:06 PM] Frida: It would honor our daughter, Myndis, if someone placed a certain type of wildflower on her grave.
    [1/29/2021 9:48:06 PM]
[1/29/2021 9:48:08 PM] Ian Berie: rumors
[1/29/2021 9:48:08 PM] Frida: Everyone knows that runestones can be found in the nearby cursed wood.
    [1/29/2021 9:48:08 PM]
[1/29/2021 9:48:13 PM] Ian Berie: Goodbye
[1/29/2021 9:48:13 PM] Frida: Bless bless.

this reminds me that @Sannio said he'd added some renown stats to tanglemire. perhaps you cannot get this quest if you're not already well-respected? have you done other quests in this scene?

Possible, I have a black shroud.

Or maybe you need to have done the other quests a certain number of times? I've so far done the missing bone once, and the spirit circle repair quest once. Maybe you need to help out more first? I would imagine "respect" in Tanglemire could be more based on "what have you done for Tanglemire" than the color of your shroud. Th0ugh, it could easily be either.

It’s possibly set up like the guard daily quest. You must first do the missing bone quest, then the guards will ask you for help. You might have to have done those 2 first possibly.

I was having the same issue. I did the missing bone quest and the spirit chime quest from the guard and still do not get the quest when talking to, as noted above, the correct npc that gives the quest.

Also tried getting the quest with and without the quest item in my inventory.

How do you know what your standing with the village is? How many days of this daily quest must be done?

I've done the nibbled bone and bag of runestones quests many times. Probably 100+. I've done the spirit chime quest once. So maybe you have to do all three quests at least once?

I have not done the runestone quest at all (I can’t do that). I have done the nibbled bone and spirit wheel quests dozens of times. That quest giver currently shows them waving at me. I haven’t spoke to her yet though.

It sounds like these are different quests? How many quests are available just in Tanglemire?

@Anpu, after you turn in a runestone to Skarde in Spindelskog, you can say "bag of runestones" to get such a bag from him. You turn in the bag to the shaman, is it, in Tanglemire. The guy with the hut in the swamp outside of town. You can do this every day.

Erla, Skarde and the shaman net ~180000 XPs every day just for quests. Plus the XPs gained while gathering the items.

    Hmm. I've done Spindelskog Runestone.

It may be nothing, but the fact that the specific quest dialog implies you've been helping people, it does sort of sound like maybe you need to do a certain number of things for townspeople before the quest is available.

    Or, you know, it's bugged.

If I can ever get a stupid envy quiver, I may head over and do the dailies again.

Well, dang. He doesn't have a bag of runestones for me today. Kinda weird, since I've never asked him before.

[Edit] Need to ask the Elder about it, not Skarrde. Though, I don't know how on earth it would ever occur to you to ask that without prompting.

@Anpu Going to have to update your list, there's at least three in Tanglemire. Possibly four, if the wildflower quest is repateable.

...and that seems to have done it. I've done each of the three Tanglemire dailies once, and now I got the wildflower quest. Guess it's not a bug.

Unless it's not supposed to be gated that way, I suppose. But given that it is offered "becasue you've been helping around the village" it seems likely to be working correctly.

Got it from mom, too, so either parent apparently (heh) can give you the quest.

Maybe the NPC conversations can be updated with "Thanks for helping me. I hear X is in need of something." or some such once all criteria are met for X to get help.

While X could say, "I'd like to ask you for help, but I think not quite yet."

So, I just was able to attain and complete the quest. I did the things noted above. Thank you folks, much appreciated.

This approach is generally not good. Because this leads to: "I've done X Quest a billion times!!111! But I'm still not worthy????!!!1111"

This is a better approach, in that after the Player is showing interest and helping them, this line could finally appear, after the player is showing some interest in helping them. Something along the lines of "You have been very helpful and we appreciate your help. Perhaps you could help X? You might be helpful in assisting them with some help they need" Something like that.
