Spent the time to finally harvest some garlic with a 13% chance -- and I got 5 garlic. I was expecting like 25 for the trouble.
But you probably got like, 15k experience. At least, that's what I got off the cotton node. Though, given the number of failures you probably got, it's likely still faster for xp to harvest a bunch of 100% ones.
Good point - I did get a bunch of XP, but the progress wheel moves SO slow at 13% chance, combined with the low chance to even get something.. it's just not worth the time investment. The juice is definitely not worth the squeeze, IMHO. I just tested on a cotton node - It's 30 seconds per attempt with 16% chance
This is being looked at by devs (yay!). I love random harvesting and gathering while in adventure scenes, so hopefully this gets adjusted. https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/f...well-of-aldur-resource-node-weirdness.167280/
I just go for the wyvern haunches and Aldurite and in that respect it is some of the most profitable harvesting in the game
It's not just how high is your foraging, it's also how high is your meticulous. You'll get some really big XP bonus drops from that. Anyhow, it was fun for a couple of hours trying to harvest with all that aggro around me.
