Make Envy Longbow upgradeable

With stats that increase damage and reduces aggro with every upgrade.

 

Yes, Envy bow non-upgraded is barely OP. Maybe at Epic it does 400% crit damage?

 

I would expect (hope) the hidden stats would be unaffected if it were to happen.

 

Careful the bow increases aggro also! You might have to recast bard mes!

 

Lots of OP items are combinable, I don't see why shouldn't the Envy Longbow.

 

For R89 I hope to have any missing artifacts from the "combining" system put in. Lots of artifact work will go in for R89. Balance for sure. The start of more "mossy green handle" from salvage for sure. Also got the go-ahead to give love to what the various straps/sheets/bindings etc. provide to initial craft of items, hopefully also for R89, so crafted items are more competitive. Also will make sure mundane trash loot is salvageable with some rare neato results. Save those spatula's A lot of my R89 work (besides my routine work monthly work) will be related to salvage, artifacts, and crafted gear love. Coupled with B's work, it's gonna be some good upcoming releases after R88 in those regards. Might sneak some in for R88, but doubtful.

 

So, what's the bad news? That's too much good news for there to not be some bad news.

a little OT but you mentioned straps and this popped into my head..
If we could get material descriptions in-game also, that would make crafting MUCH more accessible..
ex: Supple Leather Strap (+0.2% Weapon Critical Chance)

Sure thing I think there's an artifact instrument too that doesn't even have a buff, if I recall.

 

I've had a burning desire to add tooltip descriptions (or more robust ones, depending) to literally everything in your inventory. It'll be a chore, but I'm well suited for grind work, especially since I'm the lowest skilled on the team. That work is definitely on my to-do list, but just hasn't made it into the "this month" list yet.

 

How are your Photoshop skills? I'm lookin' at my status glyphs, and I see a long line of identical icons. Be nice if Obsidian Potions, Attunement Shrines, Blessings, and Devotionals weren't all using the exact same image...
