Details: Place multiple practice dummies. Only six of them will receive name tags, and only the ones with the name tags are damageable.

Castle lot has NPC allowance of 12, however only 6 out of 400 Practice Dummies placed are alive.

 

@John Markus I'm at your lot but the practice dummies don't seem to be there. Did you pick them all up, or are they maybe not spawning since you're not here?
If you could put a bunch of them back so I can verify/reproduce this, that would be great (assuming you picked them up..)

Sorry about that will look into it later today (been busy with funerals and stuff).

 

This is a problem that occur randomly when there are too many pets in the same scene. I remember I have reported it some years ago too.

 

Thanks folks - If you can reproduce this on Live after today's patch, please start a new bug report in the Live forum, and leave the dummies up so I can verify it.
It's possible this was already fixed before today's update was published (fingers crossed)

 

Seems fixed on R88

 

Note:
- Some practice dumies do not show their names (appears as "Practice Dummy" instead).
- None of the practice dummies shows their names on the combat log (I named each of the 225 practice dummies differently so hits can be analyzed).
- Many combat skills have wierd hit patterns (like spinning attack)

BTW -- LOL.. I bet these screenshots are going to wind up in the 'this is why we can't have nice things' bin
