    I have two 9GB+ files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Portalarium\Shroud of the Avatar\Downloads called StandaloneWindows_0_xxxx.sotapatch.

    Are these safe to delete?

This directory also has older files, including zip files dating back to 2018. Can these be removed too?

    Thanks

That is the download directory for updates. Usually the patcher will delete all but the most recent ones. (sometimes even while I'm trying to update manually to a second computer if I'm a few days behind)

Normally they are diff patches, with only changed data, but the 0_ is a full download and going to be really big. But there is nothing that absolutely has to be there after a patch has been applied.

it might theoretically be wise to keep the last full download if you think you may have to reinstall in the next few days, but once its top number is lower than the current build, no.
