Wait Myrkur solo Bard Spec

 

Nice. Doing a (fairly) straight bard build looks like a lot of fun.

 

It is, I love it! There is less "active" parts when you are simply sitting there waiting for the Atonal Aria to do damage, or just casting those long time songs, but it really allows me to use this "Spellbinder stacking" image I had about this game way back, all while staying something I like (unlike fire magic which I dislike )

When I get more experience, I will be looking into branching things out to provide different builds, but for now it is going to be Bard only!

 

I used to try to mix Bard and Taming to replicate my UO character and never really got it how I wanted it. SS was great for the pet but you have to give up so much to have a good pet. You lose the 300+ focus necklaces for example just by having a pet as well as the pet focus loss. You end up casting SS and watching the pet mostly. Bard damage is based on focus pool still right?

 

Atonal Aria damage is fixed, unaffected by anything, meanwhile Concussive Canticles damage is based off your focus, but if you can get enough focus once your pet is up (2500 or more), you should be fine in terms of damage!

Honestly, I'm mind blown by the support the videos and twitch have been getting! And I love talking to people and having them tell me how it inspired some build ideas for them! So yeah, I just want to say thank you to everyone, I will keep posting videos as I get the ideas, and honestly, feel free to ask me some things to try out, it's great fun learning new things for this build!

 

It's all been great stuff so far, thank you so much for taking the time to make these. With bard still being changed and balanced it's fantastic to have someone on top of it who's making current videos!

 

And there is so much more I want to try surrounding Bard... Heavy Armor, Leather, Bone, Shields, some spells, a more single-target approach, all of those are currently on my planned list, I just need to gather what I need for those tests, I want to be the best bard out there!
